Origata

Today's post is Origata Flowers mounted on a Canvas board.

Again a big thank you to Mrs. Jayashree Narayanan who introduced me to this project.

Origata gets its name from Japanese origin which means "art of folding and wrapping".

The flowers made are by using thermocol paper plates trimmed into Sunflower petals and painted with Fevicryl acrylic colours.
The leaves are made by using duplex paper.
The pollen is made using shilpkar which also gives a strong base in holding the flowers.

The canvas board is painted first using acrylic colours sap green and orange.
The flowers and leaves were then fixed using fevicol.
The texture effect was given using fabric glue.

I hope you like this creation of mine.

Thank you........

Ganesha Mural

😊😊Hi everyone,

It's been very long since I blogged.

Wanted to make a fresh beginning and so here I am with one of my Favourite creations.....A Ganesha Mural.

Thanks to my Guru Mrs. Jayashree Narayanan from whom I learnt and still learning the art of Mural making.

I began this Mural by first tracing the design on a canvas board.

Being a Pidilite products lover, I used craft clay....white mseal (Shilpkar) to make the jewellery and other accessories and used acrylic paints for the coloring part.

Feeling good after making this start......
